Geocaching is a hobby that is very popular throughout the world. What it is as best as i can describe it, is its kinda like treasure hunting. People hide a container of some sort somewhere and put the lat. lon. numbers on a website( site is in links) then you put those numbers into a hand held gps unit. The unit will get you close to it but not show you where it is. Enter fun! Now you have to find it. It could be anywhere. Could be anything from an old ammo can to a film container. After you find it you look to see what all is in the container and if you would like you can trade items, or simply just sign the log book saying that you have found it. After you get back from a long day of geocaching you can then go back to the website and log your visit to the cache on there so that the owner knows that you have found his/her cache. The real treasure is the trip to the cache. Most people who hide them take you on a nice hike through a nice area or sometimes require you to do a little bit of research to be able to find the cache. The links below will take to diffrent areas that i have found caches at and show you my trail from the gps unit as well as the pictures that i took of the caches in there hiding spots and the contents as well. SO THERE WILL BE SPOILERS!!!! IF YOU HAVE NOT FOUND THESE CACHES DONT LOOK OR IT WILL MAKE IT TOO EASY FOR YOU TO FIND THEM!!!!
